RIP – Charles Spencer Lambert
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA — Mr. Charles Spencer Lambert, 81, Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Florence, Alabama, passed Thursday, December 16, 2021. He was the son of the late Martha Johnson Lambert and L.B. Lambert, Sr.
Charles graduated from Burrell-Slater High School in the Class of 1958 and moved to Indianapolis after he graduated.
He retired from Navistar after 37 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Carson; sons, Brian Lambert and Joseph Carson; daughters, Shirley White and Sherry Lambert; sisters, Martha Armstrong, Lima, OH, Jeanette (Charles) Jackson, Florence, AL; brother, Louis (Velma) Lambert, Indianapolis, IN; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Charles was preceded in death by his son, Charles Anthony Lambert; brothers, Robert, James, L.B., Jr. and Paul Lambert; sisters, Marie Jones and Dorothy Ricks Walker.
May his memory be a blessing to his family.

RIP – Robert Henry Mosby
Robert Henry Mosby has gone to be with our ancestors. He past Sunday 12/5/2021 at the age of 96. He was the oldest child of Ida Lee Lambert and Bruce J. Mosby born in Fayette County, Tennessee. He retired from International Harvester after 31 years and later held the position of Sergeant at Arms in the Tennessee State Legislature, Special Aide to Governor Ned McWherter. Later he was appointed Chief Sergeant at Arms for the 97th General Assembly by Speaker of the House Jimmy Naifeh. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
Wedding Announcement for Crystal and Chris!
We would like to share with you the exciting news about the upcoming wedding of our daughter, Crystal Singletary, to Christopher Cameron. Crystal is the granddaughter of Barbara Lambert (Chicago, IL) and the great granddaughter of (the late) Robert and Emma Lambert of Tunica, Mississippi.
The wedding will take place on May 22, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia. Crystal and Chris have selected a venue that will provide them with a small, intimate wedding experience with 60 guests. Unfortunately, we will not be able to extend an invitation to all family members and friends.
All of those who cannot attend in person will have the opportunity to watch the wedding ceremony online. The Livestream details are available on Chris and Crystal’s wedding website on the home page: theknot.com/chris-crystal
We would like for the full family to share in the celebration by attending a party that will take place in the Chicago and Washington, DC area next year. An open invitation will be sent to all family and friends. We hope that you are able to honor us with your presence and attendance.

Ruth Lambert Hill, beloved mother of Sheila Hill Petrie has gone to meet our ancestors. Rest well cousin.
