Jimmie T. Jones Sr. – RIP
So Sad to announce family that one of our warriors has gone to meet the ancestors. Jimmie T. Jones Sr. transitioned on November 20, 2022 in Chicago, IL. Jimmie was the son of Ossie Belle Harvey. This man spent countless hours researching the history of the family and published his findings in the Elrod-Jones-Harvey-Lambert Families of Fayette and Hardeman Counties book. The book can be found in both the Harold Washington Library in Chicago and the Benjamin Hooks Library in Memphis. He will be missed at the family reunions! Rest well Jimmie and we will carry on!
