Cousin Alonzo Govan Jackson of St. Paul, Minnesota has informed us that Ames Plantation is considering putting up a memorial to our family!  If so, well deserved as our ancestors put much blood, sweat and tears into that land.  We will keep you posted.

Hi Family!  I want to give a shout out to our cousin Arielle Hudson from Tunica, who is graduating from the University of Mississippi this spring.  Arielle has been awarded a Rhodes Scholarship.  She is the first African American women to do so from Ole Miss and only the 27th recipient in Ole Miss’s long history.  Congratulations on this great achievement.  You make the ancestors proud!

Our next reunion will be July 8-11, 2021 in Washington D.C.  Save the Date!  That’s a great location and I’m sure our Metro area cousins will have a great event planned for us.
