So sad to announce another cousin has gone to join the ancestors. Martha Elizabeth Lambert Armstrong of Fort Wayne, Indiana, peacefully passed away on June 25, 2024, surrounded by her family. Martha was born on February 9, 1942, in Florence, Alabama, the ninth of twelve children born to Martha Johnson Lambert and L.B. Lambert, Sr. She is survived by her brother, Louis (Velma) Lambert; her sister, Jeanette (Charles) Jackson; her sisters-in-law, Geraldine Lambert, Tiny Covington, and Louise Oliphant; her four children, Therena Hooks, Gary (Angela) Armstrong, Brenda Merriweather, and Debrah Armstrong; Two adopted children, Tamiika Armstrong Patterson and Martha Armstrong. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
